Put a new spin on “rocking the test,” and dress up as a caveman or cavewoman the first day of test taking. Greet students as they walk into school, and play the instrumental version of The Flintstones theme music over the PA system. If possible, get a blow-up doll of “Dino,” the Flintstone’s dog, or have a staff member dress up as a dinosaur and help you welcome students. Hand out “Rock The Test!” Bookmarks or “Rock The Test!” Buttons as students enter school. Hold an assembly later that morning and sing a test-taking-themed song to The Flintstones tune.

TEST TAKING CONTEST
It was our pleasure to help you motivate and encourage your school's students during test-taking time. We invite you to participate in our 2010 Test Taking Contest, with awards including a $300 Grand Prize, $200 Second Prize and $100 Third Prize.
Tell us about the rallies and events you held to encourage and motivate your students before test-taking time–and about the celebrations you held after students "survived" their exams. Let us also know about any special activities you held to recognize the achievements of your students, as well as to show appreciation to your teachers for helping to prepare the students. List the materials you used and the Positive Promotions products you selected. Please feel free to include photos of your test-taking activities and events. Prizes will be awarded to the three best and most creative entries.
Suggestions and input from educators like you help us create products that will boost your students' study skills and test-taking confidence. When you tell us about your successful events, we can also incorporate them into the helpful idea guides we include in our catalogs. Many product and event ideas begin with entries in our contest. Please remember to send us the enclosed contest entry form.
Thank you for ordering from Positive Promotions…and good luck in the contest!
Positively yours,
Nelson Taxel
President
P.S. Contest entries are due by July 1, 2010.
